John baldessari is an American conceptual artist famously known for his series of photography during 1966 to 1968 where he took "wrong" photographs. This meant that he deliberately captured images that violated the basic rules of composition
In each of these images there are no elements of composition needed to make an image interesting instead these photographs make the viewer uncomfortable, due to the lack of elements
I learnt that taking mediocre images is easy, taking good pictures is hard but taking wrong photographs is even harder as the eye is trained to take interesting pictures and a lot of thought is invoked when trying to take wrong images as you need to know what not to include in your image
In this picture the blurry poles on either side almost act as a frame but due to the lack of clarity it doesn't work as well as it should. Also the fact that the doors at the end of the picture are placed in an odd position gives the photo an uncomfortable feel. This feeling is backed up by the fact that the exact centre of the picture is the space between the two poles.
