Andreas Levers is a German photographer who specialises in architectual photography. He captures an incredible atmosphere by photographing light in the mist and fog. He focuses on capturing the texture of surfaces and uses leading lines, diagonals and symmetry to do this. I like the mysterious aura he creates and here are some of his images that I particualrly like the best
In these images I have attempted to capture an interesting atmosphere in the style of Andreas Levers by incapsulating light in an unique way and using diagonals to my advantage
9 Shots manages to photograph ordinary people who look emotionally exhausted, surprised or isolated in some way or another. Most of his images are in black and white or slightly underexposed, making them look greyer then they would in real life. This helps emphasise the gloomy nature captured and this represents the hidden pain we all feel. I like 9 shots because I feel like this is a powerful way to illustrate this pain and I look forward to trying to replicate these photographs
In these photographs I have aimed to convey a bleak nature by making each image slightly underexposed and by managing to capture the subjects either isolated or confined. In order to do this timing was key as each picture was spontaneously taken
